    The new four-bracket table

House Bill 2764 amended 68 O.S. § 2355 for tax year 2026: single filers pay 0% on the first $3,750, 2.5% on the next $1,150, 3.5% on the next $2,300 and 4.5% on the rest. Married couples, surviving spouses and heads of household double the bands. For a married couple with a $1,000,000 prize and no other income, Oklahoma tax is $44,571; under the old 4.75% top rate it would have been about $2,500 more.

A further cut for later years happens only if the State Board of Equalization certifies the revenue trigger in December 2026.

    Withholding not printed

The Oklahoma Lottery’s claim page does not state its state withholding rate, so the calculator leaves it as unpublished and shows the Oklahoma tax as due at filing. Texans who play in Oklahoma pay no home-state tax, but Oklahoma may tax a nonresident’s Oklahoma-source prize; Kansans and Arkansans should check their home credit.
